Who you are: a Self-starter. The Executive Pastry Chef is responsible for all pastry menu execution and development for the restaurant. This person shall have a passion for French and Italian cuisine with a background in European desserts, a great attitude, and an exceptional work ethic. Communication skills, a pleasant friendly attitude, and a strong passion for hospitality are all traits we look for in a candidate.
What you'll do:
- Act as a trusted partner to the Executive Chef, always maintaining an amicable working relationship and clear communication with Kitchen & Service teams.
- Develop all recipes, ensuring product, food preparations and food execution meet the restaurant's style, specifications, and commitment to culinary excellence.
- Continuously provide leadership and guidance to your pastry team and actively participate in the in-line as needed.
What we need from you:
- At least 2 years of experience in a Pastry leadership position
- Certification in a Hospitality-related field, or equivalent (preferably)
- An understanding of baking and pastry techniques
- Positive demeanor, ability to give and take direction, and passion for the food industry
- English fluency and (additional languages preferred, but not required)
- A good attitude is required
