Landmark Hospitality is looking for a passionate Event Stylist (Wedding & Event Sales Manager) to join our NJ team!

We are seeking applicants who have experience with all aspects of meeting clients, prospecting, corporate, social and wedding sales. The ability to work in a high-volume and fast-paced environment as well as being a true hospitality professional is essential. Experience with working with prospective brides and corporate clientele is a major plus.

Wednesday through Sunday work availability is a must.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILL

  • Must have 3+ years Event selling experience in a upscale, fine dining event spaces
  • Must be passionate about events and hospitality
  • Must have experience and/or knowledge of event management driven software such as Tripleseat
  • Must be proficient in MS Office (word, excel, etc)
  • Personable demeanor and ability to deliver memory-making hospitable service
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Sales skills and ability to build productive business relationships
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally
  • Ability to work with and collaborate effectively with third party vendors to execute events per the client
  • Professional demeanor, polished appearance with the ability to exceed guest's expectations
  • Ability to work in an ever-changing environment
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Strong work ethic and client-focused approach
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meet with potential clients and gather information for their event or wedding
  • Showcase the event spaces and provide venue information so the guest is enticed and envisions their special day with us
  • Plan, design, and produce events
  • Manage all project delivery elements to ensure all deliverables are met
  • Communicate proactively and follow up with clients to identify their needs and to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Conduct market research, gather information and negotiate contracts prior to closing any deals
  • Provide feedback and periodic reports of events to management
  • Ability to lead and manage Event staff to ensure event preparedness and execution
  • Ensure seamless and timely execution on the day of the event
  • Follow up on prospective clientele following appointments to continue engagement
  • Adapt to venue changes, guest needs, and management direction
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Consistently report to scheduled shifts on time
  • Work ethically
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities based on business needs

Salary base: 55,000 - 60,000 Per Year

Commissions: Potential additional earnings up to $20,000 annually (Dependent on Client Bookings & Events)
